Choice of openings to the act:

1)  Stageshow Opening

Tango dance opening with both performers on stage. Includes choreographed Tango dance, fire eating routine, finishing with Mare playing her electric violin whilst continuing to dance with Nellie.  Set to contemporary backing track.  Most suitable for performances on a stage.

2) Classical Violin Opening

A solo violinist (Mare) begins a violin recital, only to be ambushed by Nellie, who appears on stage with a rose.  He takes the expected recital off on an unexpected tangent as he leads her into a world of musical acrobatics and sophisticated cirque stunts.

The violin solo opening can be customised to suit (can vary in length and style).

Suitable for stage and for smaller events with no stage.

3) Electric Violin Opening

An electric violinist takes the stage and performs with upbeat backing tracks.  Nellie ambushes the performance, as in the Classical Violin Opening.  Opening performance can be brief, or longer.

Can begin with Mare moving through the audience, playing a dramatic intro, or can begin on stage.

Suitable for stage and for smaller events with no stage.

4) Venetian Opening

A costumed and masked violinist enters the room playing Vivaldi.   As to what happens next… expect the unexpected!

This show can begin and end with Venice’s favorite composer… and our own productions of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Suitable for all venues.

5) Stunt Show Opening

A circus stunt opening by Nellie.  He is then joined on stage by Mare, who adds a live music dimension to the performance.

Various stunts to suit stage, or smaller venues.

Themes

The duo can theme their show according to the occasion.   The core content of their show remains, but is modified to the theme. Most popular themes: MASQUERADE, VENETIAN, TANGO, HORROR, FREAKSHOW, CIRCUS, ARABIAN

Themes by Colour:  Black & White, Red & Black, Black, White, Silver, Purple, Blue

Violins Available: Classical, Black Electrics, White Electrics, Blue Electric

Balance of musical content and stunt content can be varied to suit the event.

Hula Fiddle routine (Hula Hoops whilst playing violin)

Two High Finale – The most dangerous violin duet in the world!  Both performers play a duet with Mare standing on Nellie’s shoulders in her high heels!

Extra violin content (solo or with backing tracks)

Extra stunt content: Bed of Nails, House of Cards, Lumberjack Crunches (situps with an axe balanced on chin)

Can be performed with verbal elements or with no dialogue, depending on the style of your event.
